SSRs on the block
Chevrolet Signature Series SSR No. 3 and No. 4 will be sold to the highest bidders at the Kruse International Auburn Labor Day weekend auction. General Motors kept SSR No. 1 for its historic collection. No. 2 was donated to the Society of Automotive Engineers and sold on eBay for $137,850. SSR Signature vehicles No. 3 and No. 4, along with 16 more of the 25 Signature vehicles produced, will be sold at various Kruse auctions. Each Signature vehicle has been used and comes with a "pedigree.'' No. 3 is accompanied by a driver's logbook with notes by Robbie Buhl, Sam Hornish Jr., Andy Pilgrim and Sarah Fisher among others.
