I'm 45 with two kids, this is my daily driver, and it's outrageous. I've owned two Porsche 911s but this takes the cake for value and performance. It may not have valet cachet, but that doesn't matter because I drive the heck out of it. I considered the Mitsubishi Evo, but felt the STi had better build quality and was more forgiving. The gearbox, however, is a tad vague and a stereo should be standard. Otherwise no complaints.

I traded my Corvette Z06 for this and am extremely happy with my decision. I will miss the acceleration and handling of the Z06, but the STi is more satisfying. It has a high-quality feel, the seats are great, brakes are phenomenal and unlike the Z06 you don't have to go fast to have fun. I'd lose the wing and hood scoop as they attract too much attention. Sometimes the trunk won't open right-and give me a break about not having a stereo in the name of performance!
