Tsuchiya: Could you please give a short history of your company's relationship with Japan? Collasse: I can make it short, but it is a long history. We were already selling "Number 5" perfume in the 1930s. Honestly, we don't know exactly how that product was introduced to Japan. Probably someone went to France to buy some, and sold it in Japan. After the war, some people told us that their mother or grandmother was already selling Number 5 at their small perfume shops. Then we had a Japanese agent for a while.
