* Facility Would Be On Elementary's Campus

Chaparral Elementary School parents said Tuesday they fear for their children's safety if an alternative school should locate on their campus.

Albuquerque Public Schools is studying the Chaparral campus, southwest of Atrisco and Western, as a possible satellite for the School on Wheels program. Proposed is a single classroom, housed in a portable building at the northwest corner of the 15-acre campus, with its own entrance, parking, bathrooms and telephone.
