Emits Rosy Glow For Tech
Forget the tech wreck. Despite slower spending, the collapse of many dot-coms and the plunge in tech stocks, the tech economy will boom in 2001, says International Data Corp.
The research firm says worldwide information technology spending will pass $1 trillion in 2001 and Internet commerce will top $500 billion.
IDC's top 10 predictions for 2001, based on a poll of the firm's analysts, are
