It's a cliche, but it's often true: When the U.S. sneezes, the rest of the world catches cold.
That was the problem in February as the world's stock markets sagged under the weight of a U.S. economic slowdown and stock market slump.
Nary a place in the world was immune.
In fact, every international category tracked by Lipper shows a minus sign in front of its performance for February. Lipper says international funds
lost 7.41% through Feb. 27. Year to date, the funds are down 6.99%.
