To hear the Democrats talk about President Bush's budget and the last two decades, you have to wonder if they saw the same speech - or inhabit the same world as the rest of us. This blindness to reality may explain why they're having trouble at the polls.

But Sen. Tom Daschle of South Dakota and Dick Gephardt of Missouri went far beyond that into a fantasy land where black is white and vice versa.
The two men correctly likened Bush's tax plan to that of Ronald Reagan 20 yearsago. It cuts marginal rates to spur productivity and growth.
