The future of the Internet is on TV.
So says EarthLink Inc., one of the largest consumer Internet service providers in the U.S.
This fall, EarthLink could be the first ISP in the U.S. to offer its service onTV sets without requiring subscribers to rent or buy set-top boxes - the devices normally used to surf the Web on a TV.
EarthLink, which has 4.7 million subscribers, is trying to get in on the groundfloor of the
next big thing in Net service - television.
