In this age of instant information, a corporate executive's private e-mail can quickly become headline news, that is, if the company he works for has not deployed the proper computer security solutions to guard against corporate spies.
"Corporate raiders have been known to easily break into password-protected company computers," says Zavi Cohen, CEO of Zvetco Biometrics, an Orlando-based product development company that equips large corporations, small businesses and consumers with security solutions. "Files are accessed, copied and corrupted. It happens all the time. Someone in accounting goes out on break and suddenly, that night, insider information is all over the Internet."
