FOLLOWING THE SUCCESS of its Celebrated "Backpacker" model, Martin has introduced the latest in portable durability: the LXM (Little Martin) and the LXME (Little Martin-Acoustic Electric) X-series travel guitars. The X-series acoustics are tough enough for world-famous mountain climber Vernon Tejas to have taken one to the peak of Denali, and he is continuing his "road test" of the LXM on all seven summits of the world.
The LXM combines a modified 0-14 fret tenor :Martin shape with a 23" scale length. The one-panel back and sides are crafted from a mahogany pattern HPL with Sitka spruce back bracing.
