Statesman News Service PATNA, Aug 13. - RJD MP Mohammed Shahabuddin today surrendered before a local court at Siwan in connection with four cases in which he was facing arrest warrants.

The Siwan 'don', who was on the run since Bihar DGP Mr DP Ojha ordered his arrest on 30 July for the kidnapping and suspected murder of a CPI-ML (Liberation) worker Munna Choudhary in 2001, surrendered to the Chief Judicial Magistrate, Mr Sushil Kumar Sinha. The CJM remanded him in judicial custody till 25 August.

The surrender followed rejection of Shahbuddin's anticipatory bail application by district and sessions judge Mr Abhijit Sinha …
