For Amer Group, tobacco is year-round sunshine. (Finland Report)
What is the status of the Amer Group's tobacco division? Good, very good, exclamation mark. Numerous positive statistics support this report, but one can also see the tangible proof of success at Amer Tobacco's production facility-it's only production site-in Tuusula on the outskirts of Helsinki.
Finland's most important tobacco products factory is now showing the benefits of a massive three-year investment program which has already increased capacity by 20%. A new Dickinson opening and conditioning line has been one of the most recent major acquisitions. Tuusula is now adding a second Hauni cut tobacco silo/blending line.
This completely automated system will handle 12 tons of the BELMONT blend. The first Hauni blending system, already in place, has a capacity of 15 tons, and is reserved for the MARLBORO blend. The flow rate is at 3 to 3% tons per hour. The area also has a new dust collection system.
