License agreement executed for rights to ricin vaccine technology.
2003 AUG 13 - (NewsRx.com & NewsRx.net) -- DOR BioPharma, Inc., announced it has executed an exclusive worldwide license agreement with the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas (UT Southwestern) to license issued U.S. patent and pending patent applications pertaining to all injectable uses of novel recombinant ricin A chain mutants as vaccines to protect against poisoning by ricin.
In January, the company announced an exclusive option agreement, which covers the development of nasal, pulmonary, and oral ricin vaccines.
