The car has terrific power for a family hauler, and it has a slew of features that outshine other sedans. The 18-inch wheels and redesigned exterior get plenty of compliments. The interior is a futuristic design that is very pleasing to our tastes. I am disappoint- ed by the inaccessible power outlets, the cheap center console and the visible body gaps on many panels. However, I'm willing to sacrifice a bit of cosmetic quality for performance any day.

The main reason we bought the Maxima for my sister is safety, as it is a large sedan with front and curtain airbags. It handles very well, though it has the turning radius of a yacht. The 18-inch wheels look great and the suspension caters to sporty inclinations. Nissan should, however, offer decent paint schemes for younger-minded people and not just for the visually impaired.
