You've got a hot date at eight and you're feeling less than body-confident. Luckily, these moves, done four hours ahead of time, will increase blood flow to your muscles to give them extra definition before sundown.
1. PILATES PUSH-UP
"This exercise gives sexy tone to your arms and cleavage," says Denise Austin, author of Pilates for Every Body. Get on all fours, will your knees under your hips and your hands under your chest (A). Contract your abs, inhale, and lower your chest to the floor, keeping arms close to your sides and your back flat (B). Exhale as you push yourself back up. Do 20 reds.
2. CRISSCROSS
"This sit-up targets your entire abdominal area," says Austin. Lie on your back with your elbows open to the sides, your head resting on your hands, and knees bent with feet flat on the floor. Contract your abs and lift feet off the ground. Exhale as you keep your right leg extended straight and pull your left knee in toward your chest. At the same time, rotate your shoulders, bringing your right elbow toward your left knee. Inhale as you change positions. Once your shoulders almost reach the floor, exhale and repeat the move in reverse. Do 20 reps.
