Iran still tops in terrorism: report

A State Department report said Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps and the Ministry of Intelligence and Security "continued to be involved in the planningand execution of terrorist acts and continued to support a variety of groups that use terrorism to pursue their goals." The report said 19 Americans were killed last year in terrorist attacks, including 17 sailors who died in the Oct. 12 attack on the USS Cole in the Yemeni port of Aden. There were 423 global terrorist acts in 2000, down 8% from 1999.
