Many individual investors have wisely chosen to stay on the sidelines until the market snaps out of its doldrums.

But institutional investors haven't left the field. They've rolled up their sleeves and are continuing to play the market ballgame.

Many fund managers and large traders have sold heavily. They've also put a lot of money back into stocks. Since they possess the most muscle in the market, they have the power to send their favorite names north.

Watch their moves, even in this rough market, and you too can hit a home run when the market turns.

But how do you find out which stocks are getting favorable treatment from institutional players?

Keep an eye on a stock's Accumulation/Distribution Rating. It runs in the stock price tables on a daily basis and weighs the level of buying (or accumulation) vs. selling (distribution) of shares by institutional investors over the past 13 weeks.
