Glaxo to start HIV vaccine trials The British drug maker later this year will enroll healthy adults who haven't been exposed to the virus. The GlaxoSmithKline vaccine consists of two key proteins found on the virus as well as an "adjuvant" substance designed to enhance effectiveness. Merck is also in early stages of similar trials.

Poverty, teen pregnancies linked
