Few Web events have created more buzz than Victoria Secret's fashion shows and the chess match between IBM Corp.'s Deep Blue supercomputer and Garry Kasparov.
Now just imagine if those events were in 3-D.
The attraction of 3-D is behind a Web portal -- tdv3d.com -- that TDV Technologies Corp. was set to launch on Thursday. The New York-based start-up plans to offer entertainment, education and e-commerce content in 3-D.
The target audience? "Anyone with two eyes," said Jonathan McCann, TDV's chief executive.
"3-D has really been a fragmented space," he said. "There hasn't been anyone that packaged it all together. "
