U.S., Canada strike security deal

Attorney General John Ashcroft said the U.S. and Canada agreed to tighten security on the 4,000-mile border while freeing up vital trade links. The two will share intelligence, coordinate visa policies and beef up the training of airline security personnel working abroad.
