Bush OKs Clinton arsenic rules

Reversing course, the Bush administration accepted tougher arsenic standards for drinking water issued by President Clinton just before he left office. The rules cut permissible arsenic levels by 80%. The White House faced a p.r. disaster when it suspended the new rules in Feb. A recent study found the cancer risks from arsenic are much higher than previously thought.
