FCC keeps eye on Hughes deal

Comcast subscribers rose in Q3
The cable operator lost 11 cents a share. Views were for a 40-cent loss. It lost 24 cents a year ago. Comcast, which is vying for AT&T's cable assets, said cash flow rose 17% to $706 mil, beating views. Sales rose 20% to $2.4 bil. Digital cable subscribers rose 21% to 2.12 mil in Q3 vs. Q2.
