China becomes No. 2 Web market

In July it passed Japan in Web traffic. The U.S. still led the Web market at 42.7%, with China a distant No. 2 at 6.6%, says WebSideStory, a maker of customer tracking software. Intel said Wednesday it expects China to pass Japan as the No. 2 PC market later this year.

Watch TV show ads at your ATM

Through Sept., Bank of America will test a captive audience by running ads for TV shows on 2,000 ATMs in California as part of a deal with AOL Time Warner. The 5-7 second spots run while ATMs are idle and while transactions are processing. BofA and AOL hope to avoid angering ATM users.
