Spitzer eyes investment bankers
New York Attorney General Eliot Spitzer's next probe will involve the activities of investment bankers who sold securities that later plunged, a published report said. He'll be focusing on bond trading activities. Spitzer recently forced Merrill Lynch to pay $100 mil over charges that its analysts hyped stocks to win banking work.

Boeing working on "bat plane'
The plane has no fuselage or tail. Instead, it has a wing and a belly to hold passengers and freight. Boeing engineers outlined the concept 10 years ago and are near perfecting it. It features less pollution and noise, and requires less fuel. It also would be cheaper to build. But few passengers would have windows, and evacuation issues are being solved.
