The Connectivity Capital? Florida

Florida Gov. Jeb Bush jumped aboard the high-tech bandwagon in a recent publicity stunt, lauding efforts of Terremark Worldwide Inc., the Miami-based provider of Internet connections and services for customers in Latin America.

Bush commended Terremark for helping the Sunshine State become "one of the premier Internet connectivity capitals" that link the U.S. with the rest of the world. Bush said Terremark's network access point strengthens Florida's position as "the gateway to Latin America.
