Financial planning up after 9-11
The recession and Sept. 11 spurred interest in financial planning, especially among the young and blacks, a survey found. Some 55% of Americans say a financial plan is more important than a year ago, the Consumer Federation of America and the Financial Planners Association said. Among Americans ages 18-34, 70% agree. So do 76% of blacks.
