He's believed to know names, faces and locations of operatives worldwide, possibly including bin Laden's hiding place. Pakistanis, who handed him to the U.S., shot Zubaydah three times as he tried to escape capture.
Israel Invades; Palestinians Bomb

But not so simple: He stopped short of applying to Arafat his statements that those who harbor terrorists are terrorists. Senators turned up pressure on Bush to get more directly involved in the Middle East peace process.
