You May Not Recognize The Net
Analysts are predicting great things for the Internet during the coming years.
But to some people, it may not be clear whether analysts are writing research reports or honing their science-fiction skills.
In the next decade, our computer devices and software applications will sense, analyze and even control events in the physical world. So say high-tech analysts who are predicting the advent of an X Internet, or executable Internet.
While the Web is good at serving up static pages, the next-generation X Internet should bring more high-quality interactive experiences.
