EU outlawing tobacco ads in '05

The EU will ban ads in newspapers and magazines, on the Internet and at international sporting events. The new restrictions were approved by all 15 EU nations except Britain and Germany. That gave enough votes to push through the bill after a court struck down an earlier ban. Britain complained the rules are too weak and vague.
