The Nasdaq dipped 0.6% in a shortened session Friday as volume fell to half normal levels. The composite gained 0.7% for the week to mark its seventh up week of the last eight. It surged 11.2% for November.
Logitech gapped down 1.81, or 4.7%, to 36.70 on fast turnover, giving up the bulk of Wednesday's gains. The computer peripherals maker has rebounded the past two months along with the market indexes to form a V-shaped base. It's still 31% off its high.
Comcast slumped 0.98 to 23.44 on twice normal trade. The No. 1 U.S. cable TV operator has traded in a range of 23 to 27 the past five weeks, failing to close above its 200-day moving average. The Pacific Stock Exchange announced it would start trading Comcast options Monday.
InterDigital Communications dipped 0.85 to 18.25 a day after notching a 52-week high. The wireless telecom chip maker has still logged nine up weeks in a row to clear a seven-month base. It remains well off its all-time high of 82.
