Walgreen misses Q4, shares fall
The drug-store chain earned 24 cents, up 14% from 21 cents a year ago but missing views by a penny. Sales grew 15%, with same-store sales up 1.5%. Expenses also grew, due to new stores and promotions to ward off Wal-Mart and other discounters. Shares tumbled 9%.

Ford, Canadian workers in deal
Canadian Auto Workers reached a tentative 3-year pact. A strike deadline was set for midnight Tuesday. Details weren't given, but the deal was expected to be like the union's pact with GM last week. It included a 3% hike in the first two years, 2% in the third and a $633 bonus.
