The union urged its 26,000 members to go to work Tuesday, even though their contract was due to expire midnight Sunday. It plans to revote on Boeing's "best and final" offer after federal mediators meet this week. Boeing says it'll meet with mediators, not with the union.
Lockheed wins missile site deal
Lockheed Martin and Bechtel won a 15-year Army deal worth up to $2.7 bil to run a key ballistic missile test site at Kwajalein Atoll in the central Pacific, sources said. The firms beat out teams led by Raytheon and Northrop Grumman.
