Misplaced Faith . . .

Bill Buckley labeled Pat Buchanan an anti-Semite years ago, and Buchanan has never let him down. "An "Authentic' Conservative, Buchanan Parts With Bush" (Q&A, Wednesday) is the latest example of his twisted logic regarding the leadership of Israel and the leadership of the Palestinian people.

Buchanan should not concern himself with whether there will be a future Jewish state, since Israel is a democracy and its government is answerable to its citizens.
