The market yielded mixed results Tuesday, as NYSE stocks couldn't keep up with their Nasdaq brethren. Despite gains by techs, the Dow fell 0.4%, the S&P 500 0.7%. The small-cap S&P 600 shed 1% as volume rose vs. Monday's level and closed above its 50-day average.

Weight Watchers International dived 2.75 to 42.03 on more than three times its normal trade. The provider of nutrition advice, foods and exercise tips to customers hoping to lose weight pierced its 200-day moving average. The stock's Accumulation/Distribution Rating, which measures institutional support, has fallen to a D.
