Flir Systems has been forming a base since peaking at 59.50 in March.
The firm's thermal-based imaging cameras are used in various industries, including surveillance, building maintenance and industrial automation. Flir said on Dec. 20 it got a $17 million contract to supply thermal imaging systems to the Norwegian and Swedish armed forces.
Flir's earnings per share have grown 50% to 239% from year-ago levels in the past four quarters. Sales growth has accelerated over the past three periods, from 14% to 15% to 24% to 36%.
