Tom Monaghan, the founder of Domino's Pizza, the world's biggest pizza delivery chain, gave customers a better eating experience.
Monaghan and his brother borrowed $900 to buy their first pizza store in 1960 in Ypsilanti, Mich.
It was the tiniest start. But Monaghan began studying his business almost immediately.
He noticed that pizza tended to taste the same everywhere. Most stores made pizza the same way and used similar ingredients.
