Where does online travel go from here? Terry Jones, the founder of travel Web site travelocity.com, says new technology and ways of winning customers are some of the changes in store. Jones left Travelocity, now a wholly owned unit of travel commerce company Sabre Holdings Corp., as CEO in May. He ran the online travel company for six years. He's now a partner in a Boston firm that invests in technology companies.

His job gives him the freedom to look at online travel from new angles. He's watching how online travel technology will evolve over the next several years. He says user interfaces are being developed that will make it easier for consumers to buy travel products online. …
