Smoking ban, fewer heart attacks
A ban on public smoking in Helena, Mont., slashed heart attacks by 60% in that city over the next six months vs. the same period in the prior four years, doctors found in a study. During those six months, there was no change in areas outside of the city that weren't affected by the laws against public smoking.
