The Nasdaq caved nearly 1.1% in lower volume Friday to finish down 3.7% for the week, ending its two-week winning streak.

Some stocks in leading industry groups gave back a chunk of their recent winnings. OmniVision Technologies fell 2.05, or 8.8%, to 21.17 on 2 1/2 times its 50-day average volume. The maker of digital imaging sensors used in digital cameras and camera-enabled phones broke out of a 15-week base at 19.92 on March 13. It's part of Electronics-Semiconductor Manufacturing, ranked third among the 197 IBD groups for six-month price performance. The industry groups table is on page B4.
