The S&P 500 advanced 0.5% Friday, but still finished the week down 0.8%. The Dow industrial average edged up less than 0.1%. Harman International Industries advanced on heavy trade for a second straight session, rising 1.83 to 63.53. Ukrainian Mobile Communications, that country's largest cellular telephone firm, approved the sale of a majority combined stake to MTS. The stake combines a 25% stake held by Ukraine's Ukrtelecom and two 16.33% stakes held by Royal KPN NV and Deutsche Telekom AG.
