"Molecular clock' predicts death
The "clock,' buried deep in human cells, may predict how likely people were to die from certain old age-related diseases, researchers said in The Lancet. They found that initially healthy folks over 60 with shorter telomeres, genetic material that caps chromosomes, are more likely to die than peers with longer caps.
