Biogen's psoriasis drug gets OK
The biotech won FDA approval for its Amevive drug for psoriasis, a skin disease that affects about 1.5 mil people in the U.S. The market for such drugs is forecast at more than $1 bil in the U.S. and up to $5 bil worldwide. Biogen expects sales of $85 mil in '03 from Amevive.
