Pathmark Stores, an East Coast supermarket chain with 143 stores in New York, New Jersey and Philadelphia, is streamlining its operations with retail software from Lawson Software. The company is implementing Lawson's Retail Enterprise Solution, including Retail Operations, Smart Notification and Enterprise Performance Management applications, as well as new versions of Lawson's back-office suite to create a single framework supporting merchandising and pricing with an exception-based management system.
