What better way to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the Lincoln Highway than with a mass gathering of cars making a pilgrimage down America's first transcontinental highway?
That is exactly what the Lincoln Highway Association has planned for this summer, with classics, street rods, sports cars, trucks and motorcycles on board to make the journey from New York's Times Square to Lincoln Park in San Francisco.
This two-week tour is not a race, but a voyage along the historic motorway. The convoy will travel approximately 225 miles per day with stops planned in each of the 13 states the Lincoln Highway traverses.
