The RiverDogs treated a Charleston all-time record of 8,116 to a come-from-behind 3-2 victory over the Rome Braves at raucous Riley Park on Friday night.
"I was going to give a couple of guys the day off, but they told me 'no way' because they knew there was going to be a sellout crowd and they wanted to be part of it," said manager Mako Oliveras after watching his team improve to 8-7 in the SAL second half, 47-37 overall. "Tonight was a fantastic game for the team, and our fans."
