According to published research from Germany, "A recent editorial in the prestigious New England Journal of Medicine was entitled, 'The beginning of the end of cervical cancer?' It was a comment on the promising phase 11 study results of a preventive vaccine against human pathogenic papilloma virus (HPV) 16."
"Based on a large body of experimental and epidemiological evidence, the causative role of HPVs in the development of cervical cancer is well established," commented Thomas A. Grubert and K.
