"Do not call' fallout: more spam?

Reports say telemarketers are looking to new outlets for their sales pitches in the wake of the national opt-out registry for calls. Though some of the biggest direct marketers -- long-distance firms -- deny it, some fear they'll turn to e-mail and postal mail. AT&T and Sprint did say they'll advertise more on the Web and insert ads into phone bills.
