Osama bin Laden has not appeared in public for several years and has not been seen on camera since the fall of 2001. Based on literature distributed by Islamist extremists, Ruven Paz, a former officer in Israel's Shin Bet internal security agency, argues that terrorist organizations bent on destroying the West will continue with or without bin Laden's presence.
Paz quotes a prominent Libyan terror supporter saying that jihadists "do not need the existence of bin Laden" to complete a global war on "Jews and Crusaders."
