Novell advances NetWare 386 Novell used the recent NetWorld show in Boston as the launching pad for a group of announcements and product releases. Foremost among these were the release of a new version of NetWare 386, 3.11, and the release of the long-awaited Mac NetWare Loadable Module (NLM). Novell also announced a strategic marketing alliance with IBM.

Multiple platforms supported. The original release of NetWare 386 last year was a major improvement over NetWare 286.
