`Never say die' work style backs aggressive expansion

With fiscal 1991 revenues expected to pass the $500 million mark, Chili's Inc. executives are plotting a course that they believe will take the company to the billion-dollar milestone in five years. No wonder industry analysts that follow the Dallas-based restaurant operator are so bullish on the company.

A company that appears to have a sterling reputation within the industry, Chili's, which recently reported record second quarter revenues of nearly $100 million, is on a roll.
